Adopted Fanfic

So, I was browsing FanFiction.net yesterday, and came across a piece I liked a lot. Sadly, the author no longer writes fanfictions from that universe. Luckily, they decided to allow others to "adopt" the discontinued stories.

So I adopted the story. The first eight chapters have been written, but there's no prologue (doesn't NEED to be one, but I enjoy having an introduction outside of the first chapter) and the story hasn't even reached the climax yet.

So I get to challenge myself and try to finish someone else's story. 8D I'm excited and nervous at the same time. ^.^"

I have my coffee and a bagel. ....part of a bagel (ate most of it already). So I think I'm ready to get started. I'll be posting it on here, and MAYBE on FanFiction.net (if I can figure out how to work the thing. o.o").

Update on VotSD:
This is currently on hold, purely because I'm working out the very end of the entire saga that seems to have elvolved from what was GOING TO BE  a simple adventuring story about the shenanigans of a group of pirates. 8I Yup. My brain likes huge, complex plots....

I'm also working on another fanfiction, though it's in EARLY development stage.

Oh, and I've got a third on simmer for NaNoWriMo. ^.^ Planned parts of this one out, and I'll be using it for this year's NaNo challenge.
